Job Summary

Our Deburrer role is our entry role into machining and manufacturing with Burger & Brown Engineering, Inc. This role requires a very high attention to detail, patience and thinking through the process and the end use of products to be successful.

• Final Visual Inspection of all parts, a very keen eye using equipment to qualify parts for accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare part to finish specification in drawing provided by the customer, includes de-burring, cleanliness and packaging. Visually check with 30X microscope.
• Reject any and all parts for visual damage or those that do not meet print finish requirements and return for rework.
• Package and ship per individual requirements.
• Inventory and track all overage and access parts, update weekly.

• H.S. diploma or GED required, prefer vocational school or apprenticeship
• Must have a positive attitude with a demonstrated ability for attention to detail
• Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teambuilding skills

• Standing for extended periods on hard surfaces
• Continuous movement; reaching, pulling lifting, bending, stooping, standing
• Visual abilities; close and distant vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
